Wise Up Marketing was launched in 2010 as a response to the growth of digital marketing and to assist businesses in targeting consumers through all touch points, drawing upon strategic planning and execution skills both within the digital marketing space and traditional media vehicles.

Wise Up Marketing is dedicated to helping small and medium sized businesses reach their full potential. We use strategies that maximise all the latest touch points to target consumers in relevant ways, with the emphasis on cost-effective solutions and measurable results.

Our Founder

I started my first business at age 8 on the school playground; it was promptly shut down, but would set off a lifelong passion for matching consumer’s needs with products and services.

 

With a corporate grounding as a Strategic Brand and Marketing specialist working on some of Australia’s favourite brands, I have honed the ability to balance creativity with financial realities, launching products and brands with an innate ability to capture a target market’s attention.

 

I am also a qualified trainer and assessor, working with training organisations such as the Australian Careers Business College and TAFE NSW. Through this I am able to guide others through learning and education.

 

Being immersed in the social and digital space for over 5 years I am a passionate Digital Strategist, Speaker and Mentor for business owners looking to maximise the opportunities that Social Media brings.

Matt Rothwell

Digital Marketing Coordinator

Matt is a savvy and engaged Digital Marketer with a passion for Lead Gen and Social Advertising who joined the team in mid 2017. He is a practical thinker and a committed problem solver. Matt works across all social platforms for our clients as well in WordPress development.

Having completed specialist studies in Digital Marketing, Matt is also close to finishing a Bachelor of Business Major in Marketing.

Jessica Kalogeras

Marketing Assistant

Joining Wise Up in 2015 as a Marketing Intern from Australian Careers Business College, we quickly recognised her flair for sourcing and creating content! 3 months later Jess was welcomed to our team as Marketing Assistant where she is responsible for managing client Social Media Content, Newsletters and welcoming new clients aboard.

Having completed a Diploma of Marketing, Jess now studies at UTS working toward completing a Bachelor of Business – Majoring in Marketing and Events Management.

Web Development Manager

Giulia is Wise Up’s lead web designer and developer with a true passion for digital marketing and communications. Giulia loves simple and functional design; what looks good, clean, elegant, but also fun, innovative and modern at the same time. With a very high attention to detail, Giulia ensures our client websites are delivered to perfection across all devices!

Giulia has studied across Web and Digital media, achieving a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction of Website Development

PR & Marketing Specialist

Renee brings to the Wise Up team her extensive experience in PR & Marketing working in Media for over 15 years. Renee is a senior strategist who identifies opportunities for our clients and crafts solutions to help them achieve success.
Her extensive PR and Media experience ensures that Renee is connected to all the right people, and is perfectly placed to help our clients get their stories published in local and national newspapers, as well as popular fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines.

Renee is also able to assist with organising competitions that meet legal requirements, helping you identify opportunities to get your products out to the masses with Prize opportunities and identify influencers to work with and negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships.

Sarah Preuss

Designer

Sarah runs her own Design Business and is Wise Up’s go-to for everything design and branding. Based in Southern Sydney, Sarah supports our clients with all their collateral design needs – from brochures, to business cards and flyers – to event needs like Pull Up banner and large format banner designs.

With a strong corporate ethic Sarah understands our professional services and medical clients needs; but is equally adept at creating light and fun communications for different product and lifestyle based businesses.
